Dr Judy Tang

Dr Judy Tang has over 10 years of career and academic expertise in Clinical Neuropsychology. With a Dpsych (professional doctorate) in Clinical Neuropsychology from Monash University (2008) and a Bachelor of Science with honours (majoring in psychology and behavioural neuroscience), she provides neuropsychological services for medico-legal and community settings, workshops and seminars both to her professional peers and wider community, as well as advocacy in the areas of health and community care.

Laura Anderson is a clinical neuropsychologist with 3 years career and academic expertise in Clinical Neuropsychology. With a Masters in Clincal Neuropsychology from La Trobe University (2012) and currently undertaking her PhD at Monash University, she provides psychological and neuropsychological assessments in rehabilitation and forensic settings. At Jurmaine Health, she specialises in concussion management, baseline cognitive assessments and ongoing management of complex concussive symptoms. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, APS College of Clinical Neuropsychology (CCN), Australasian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment (ASSBI) and a committee member of the Early-Mid Career Researchers Committee (EMCR). Laura is also a volunteer of her time at RSPCA Victoria and Riding for the Disabled Association (RDAA).
BA/BSC, HONS, MASTERS IN PSYCHOLOGY (CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY)
Jessica completed a double undergraduate degree at The University of Melbourne with majors in Psychology and Neuroscience. She completed her Honours in Psychology at RMIT with a research project at The Florey Neurosciences Institute focusing on brain imaging in individuals with chronic pain. She completed her Masters in Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) at The University of Melbourne with a research project at The Melbourne Brain Centre looking at the relationship between sleep and cognition in individuals with epilepsy. She is a fully endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist in Australia. Her interest and experience lies in developmental, paediatric and adolescent neuropsychology and she has worked in multiple paediatric settings in New South Wales and Victoria. Her clinical experience includes work in both hospital and education settings. She has worked as a neuropsychologist in The Department of Neurology and The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Westmead Children’s Hospital, NSW. She also has early development-specific experience having worked with the Parramatta Early Childhood Assessment Team (PECAT), NSW. She has worked closely with teachers and learning support staff within educational settings for assessments, learning support consultation and applications for learning support funding. She is very enthusiastic about working with youth, supporting their development, education and connection with society.
Dr Melissa Marot
Dr. Melissa Marot has over 20 years of experience in psychology, endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist and Organisational Psychologist. At Jurmaine Health, Melissa’s specialist focus is helping people make day-to-day changes that lead to happier and healthier lives. She works with people from younger to older adult age groups, with a range of psychological needs including stress, anxiety, depression and adjustment to life changes (personal and workplace) brought by neuropsychological illness and injury. Melissa has a specialist interest in providing psychological support and cognitive rehabilitation for clients and their families with difficulties brought by conditions such as head trauma, concussion, learning difficulties, and neurodegenerative conditions. Melissa takes a solution-focused approach and uses positive psychology strategies and strengths based approaches, to help people overcome challenges or adapt to their cognitive difficulties.
At Jurmaine Health, Melissa also provides neuropsychological services for medico-legal and community settings, workshops and seminars both to professionals and the wider community. Dr. Melissa Marot graduated from the University of Melbourne with professional Masters of Psychology/PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology, and the University of London in the field of Psychology with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Masters of Science. Across her career Melissa has researched and worked in the United Kingdom, USA, and Australia. She is a member of The Australian Psychological Society and British Psychological Society.
B. PSYCHOLOGY (HONS), M. CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY – AMANDA IS A CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY REGISTRAR, AND CURRENTLY HOLDS REGISTRATION AS A GENERAL PSYCHOLOGIST WITH THE PSYCHOLOGY BOARD OF AUSTRALIA.
She has had clinical experience in a diverse range of settings including geriatric and traumatic brain injury populations, inpatient rehabilitation and neurological conditions. In particular, she has experience in the differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative disorders and assessments of decision making capacity. She completed her Honours in Psychology at Monash University conducting a research project with the Experimental Neuropsychology Research Unit, where she examined the effects of vicarious pain on motor imagery processes. She completed her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University, Sydney, investigating the longitudinal effects of amyloid-beta burden on structural brain volumes and cognition. She also holds affiliations with the ARC Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders and School of Psychology at The University of Sydney. Amanda has strong interests in the field of ageing and dementia and is currently affiliated with the Florey Institute of Neurosciences, where she also conducts neuropsychological assessments for the Australian Imaging, Biomarkers and Lifestyle Study of Ageing. She is very enthusiastic about working with youth, supporting their development, education and connection with society.

James Lewis is a clinical neuropsychology registrar. With a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology from La Trobe University, graduating in 2014, he provides psychological and neuropsychological assessments in a variety of settings. At Jurmaine Health, he specialises in traumatic brain injury and concussion assessment/management, as well parenting capacity and forensic assessments. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and also works as a sessional academic at La Trobe University.
Dr Shermain Wong
BAPPSC (CHIROPRACTIC), MASTERS (CLINICAL CHIROPRACTIC)
Dr Shermain Wong is a chiropractor with expertise in general treatment and over 6 years experience. With a Masters in Clinical Chiropractic from RMIT University, Shermain has provided chiropractic and movement rehabilitation services at international sporting competitions, professional dancers, professional football players and professional athletes
DrSwiatlowski is a qualified chiropractor with over 6 years of experience. She has worked in a range of different environments including roles within the allied health industry, professional sporting clubs as well as in her own private practice. With a Master of Clinical Chiropractic from RMIT University as well as a number of additional qualifications, including Active Release Technique (ART), Animal Flow and a Certificate III & IV in Fitness from the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers, is an expert in movement restoration and chiropractic care. In the past she has worked alongside local athletes, including players from the Western Eagles Soccer Club, Melbourne City Soccer Club and the Coburg Lions Football Club. In her role at Jurmaine Health, main focus is treating patients and looking after their health.
