What Is NeuroBaseline?
NeuroBaseline™ is cognitive baseline testing with a trained, clinical neuropsychologist. Unlike a clinical neuropsychological assessment which is designed for those who have an established pre-existing issue, a NeuroBaseline assessment is for people who simply wish to know their official IQ or memory ability.
What’s The Difference Between NeuroBaseline & Other IQ Tests?
The differential factor of NeuroBaseline and other IQ tests (including fun online ones), are that ours are the official tests used to gauge IQ and memory, and they are performed by neuropsychologists. It is different from MENSA, as MENSA only tests for geniuses (i.e. will only say whether you qualify for MENSA or not), whereas our assessments will let you know what is ‘Low Average’, ‘Average’ and ‘High Average’ compared to the general population.
What Is The Eligibility Criteria For A NeuroBaseline Assessment?
Anyone between the ages of 16 and 89 years old can undergo a NeuroBaseline assessment. Jurmaine Health encourages clients to come for a yearly to bi-yearly ‘brain checkup’ – just like your GP encourages you to have a yearly medical checkup. NeuroBaseline may appeal to the “worried well” and individuals who simply want to know what their scores really are. NeuroBaseline is also ideal for older adults who are worried they might be developing dementia – a yearly checkup could help to ease your mind.
Who Else Could Benefit From NeuroBaseline?
Organisations such as sporting clubs, insurance companies and companies operating in high-accident or high-risk industries can benefit hugely from NeuroBaseline, for medico-legal purposes. If they have a baseline score for their players/members/employees, then in the unfortunate situation that they sustain a brain injury they can confidently compare what was caused by the injury and what conditions already existed.
